ALL Live performances on this album which is better then a greatest hits album. Combines new age vocals,harp and full orchestra in most pieces. Relaxing and soothing for the casual listener. Real musicians create these tunes and it shows! Combining harmonizing voices in live performances show that these hits are the product of work and not 'studio tricks' . Thanks.

I've fascineted music of VOLLENWEIDER since about his arly album's and stil I'm very fascinated his music and his magic harp.This CD is very fantastic like relaxed music to work by.If you are very tired ,if you need harmony you must hearing this cd ,you must hearing music of VOLLENWEIDER.Put this CD ,close your eyes and start your magic journey to the word of VOLLENWEIDER music with his fantastic magic harp ,its very beautiful experience,that is incredibile music and feel like your journey is beautiful.This is very fantastic music for harmony and relaxing.

I have listened to many of Andrea's,s cds there is some I like and others with guest singers I do not get into, this one has many of his older tracks but it is live. I like it it is a very good recording as usual.

From listening to the clips I expected something new. All songs are shortened versions of original. Love his music and creativity but the cd is somewhat impotent compared with his other releases.

I used to listen to Andreas Vollenweider back in the eighties when we had matching do's(actually mine was more early 70's)and his innovative appraoch helped launch the new age musical genre. I admit I've not listened to much since the vinyl days but recently saw his musical performance on a PBS Magical Journeys of Andreas Vollenweider and was once again mesmerized. The result was getting a copy of this performance on CD and I like it very much. It is one of those change up records to throw in the cue or pick some faves for a I-Pod playlist of dreamy music. The qualities are meditative and enhance those slowed down moments of contemplation. Favorite tracks include some from earlier albums like "Under The Moon 1 & 2" which is sort of a tease in it's brevity but has cool chanting and such going on, "Night Fire Dance" which is more in the traditional A.V. vein, slightly upbeat with hushed refrains, "Play of The Five Balls" taht is a series of rising and falling crescendos intermixed with flute and the closing track "Pyramid" that has that mysterious vibe. If you are in the mood for the occasional New Age fix than this disc will help get you there. Recommended listening for starry nights and mountain tops, where the air is clear and where the mind has followed.
