Product Description

A couple of years ago a European designer was bored and was sick and tired of everyone whizzing around on aluminum scooters. So he retired to the garden shed for a while and got to work! The end result is staggering, out came a sleek, cool scooter that when mastered made traveling effortless and at the same time grabbed everyones attention! FAQ Q: How do you ride a Magic wheel? A: You put the Main wheel in between your legs and put one foot on the board (normally your right one) and push off with your other foot. when you are balanced comfortably you place your other foot on the board and away you go! Q: What age is the Magic Wheel suitable for? A: The recommended minimum age is 12 years old. This is due to the inside leg measurement needed to comfortably ride the Magic Wheel. The minimum inside leg measurement needed is 28 inches. Q: Is the Magic Wheel a safe product? A: It is no more dangerous than a skateboard or a Micro scooter. Because the big wheel is the first thing to go over objects it goes over them far easier than what a skateboard/Micro scooter would. Like with all products of this nature you are advised to wear the appropriate safety gear. Q: How long does it take before I can ride the Magic Wheel? A: The average user takes a couple of hours practice before they can comfortably ride the Magic Wheel with both feet on the board. But even practice is great fun and the challenging aspect makes it very addictive! Q: How do I change direction? A: To avoid obstacles/minor turning you adjust your weight to weave in and out. If you want to change direction completely then put one foot down and spin around. Q: How do I stop if there is no brake? A: We have experimented with having a brake and we found that it works better without one. To stop in an emergency then simply jump off and grab the handle or let it fall on the floor. It is made out of reinforced plastic so it wont break!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun & Innovative, June 11, 2008
This review is from: The Magicwheel Scooter Skateboard (Misc.)
It took some practice to learn how to ride this thing (then again, I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to skateboard-type devices!) -- but it is a great product. It's definitely different and attracts a lot of attention as a result. It seems durable and sturdy, so it should survive even if you don't! But honestly, if you're coordinated and have good balance, riding it should be easy after you practice a little. Overall, a very innovative and new approach to getting around!

4.0 out of 5 stars first timers don't try downhill, June 6, 2010

So I've had this thing for about a month or so. I live on a low grade hill at the top. Practice on level ground or else you'll get frustrated and give up.
I am trying it every 2 or 3 days and can only stay on for max 10 seconds. Just try on level ground cuz I always go longest on level ground.

The Magicwheel Scooter Skateboard

Item was delivered before xmas and I tried it out in the basement of my home..After viewing the video,My problem with it is that It is hard to balance oneself on the wheel. lean too much forward, wheel goes out from under you....too far back and wheel goes ahead of you causing you to lose balance..
I am ?? old so maybe I better leave this to the younger ones... I would just give to one of my grandkids but I'm afraid they could get seriously hurt learning the proper riding method if there is any such thing...
