Product Description

The Magid TouchMaster 651J men's jumbo inspection glove is made of 100% bleached white cotton lisle for strength and smoothness, and helps protect parts, assembled products, and other items from smudges, finger prints, and skin oils when being handled. The glove is cut and sewn from a two-piece pattern to fit the form of a hand, and has a hemmed edge to help prevent the cotton threads from unraveling in the wash. The glove has an ambidextrous shape to fit the left or right hand. It is color-coded to facilitate the visual identification of the glove's size. In addition to its primary use as an inspection glove, this glove can be used as a glove liner to absorb moisture. It comes in a pack of 60 pairs.

Work gloves help protect the hands, can cover the wrists, and sometimes extend to cover part, or all, of the arm. Work gloves are typically constructed from leather or heavy cotton and are suitable for use in construction, mechanical, landscaping, and do-it-yourself applications to help protect against minor cuts and abrasions. Work gloves for use in manufacturing and construction industries can be made of woven, high-strength synthetic fiber, to resist cuts from heavy machinery and withstand high levels of heat without melting. Work gloves may also be made of, or include, flame retardant material, for use in welding and other heavy-duty applications.

Magid Glove & Safety manufactures gloves, protective clothing, first aid supplies, and personal protective equipment. The company, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Chicago, IL, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2008.

I ordered these for husband, as he has bad allergies to something in his workplace and his hands are always breaking out and cracking. He has to wear vinyl gloves and as most anyone his hands will sweat under the gloves, so the doctor recommended using cotton glove liners. I had been ordering another brand of cotton glove liners here on Amazon and they were $12.00 for just a box of 25. When the supplier stopped carrying those, I found these cotton glove liners. You will get a pack of 60, a wonderful buy, especially if you qualify for the Amazon super-saver free shipping.

These cotton gloves are like a very thin and soft cotton t-shirt material. They will fit nicely even under tight vinyl or latex gloves. These seem to be longer and cover more of the wrist than the last brand I bought which is great for my husband as he also breaks out on his wrists, so these will keep his skin more protected.

You can rewash these (I'd recommend using the delicate cycle) and reuse them. Though, over time with many repeated washes the seams will come out around the web of the hand. Though, with the great price and the quanity you get these will last a long, long time.

The only thing I don't like is that these liners are not hemmed at the bottom of the glove, as this causes fraying after a few washes. Though, most of the other liners we've used are not hemmed either. For this price we can live with it though.

Overall, I'd highly recommend these for anyone for as use for a thin cotton glove or glove liner. I'll definitely reorder these when we need more.

I purchased these for use in my photographic studio. The pro is that they actually fit. I have previously purchased other brands sized as "men's", "large", and "extra large". I was not able to fit either the men's or large onto my hands. The extra large would fit snugly, getting comfortable after putting them on and taking them off a few times to stretch them. These "jumbo" gloves fit right off. However, there are two cons: these gloves are very thin, but satisfactory for handling negatives and transparencies, and the cuffs are not hemmed, which is a small problem as bits of lint fall off if you're not careful.

I purchased these gloves because I have very dry hands and have to slather lotion on them at night. I've tried everything from disposable latex gloves ( cold! ) to winter gloves ( hot! ) with no success. The lotion either seeped through and made a mess of my pillow or they were so uncomfortable I'd wake up and have to look for them because I had taken them off in my sleep. Another mess. These gloves are perfect! I actually wear two pairs at once so the lotion doesn't come through at all. Very soft and comfortable. I am a woman but ordered the jumbo size. They are big, as I knew they would be, but, after throwing them into the washer, with my whites in hot water, and dryer, they fit perfectly. I've read ratings which say they fall apart in the wash. Not true. Holes in them? Not true. The quantity is very generous and I've only used one of the five dozen so far. I just wash them and wear them over and over. I also wear one pair, with lotion, under my latex gloves during the day when I'm cleaning and constantly putting my hands in water. With these gloves, and my Merino Lanolin Skin Crème, my hands have never been so soft in the winter! As a side note, never ever go outside in cold weather without first putting on winter gloves or mittens. No more of those painful cuts on your fingertips!

My husband has very bad psoriasis on his hands and every night he has to put cream on them. These cotton gloves are perfect! Thin enough, inexpensive enough, he uses them once or twice and then tosses them.

I am not sure where they came up with "jumbo" for a size, but I would say that these would fit up to a standard glove size of 8 (men's large, but NOT extra large). Other than that, no complaints. The gloves are very thin, but they are sufficient for the task of keeping medication from rubbing off on the bedsheets. The seams are single stitched and there is no cuff, so they have a tendency to split open from the cuff end. This is easily repaired. So they are somewhat cheaply made, but then the price is cheap too, and it balances out to be a good deal in the end. I would buy these again, but with the large quantity it could be many years before I wear them all out and need more.

I bought these to use in treating eczema. I am using a topical ointment that is greasy and these keep everything I touch from having the ointment on it. They are cotton and thin enough to breath and you can even use a touch screen while wearing them. I have placed them in a garment bag and washed them in my machine. They held up well but are cheap enough that when they get "too worn" I can toss them in the trash. I would buy these again.
