DJ Tiesto keeps on topping himself. Not only do I enjoy his own music, but I almost enjoy his remixing even more. This album is a fantastic example of his thouroughly perfect mixing. I heard the original version of most of these songs quite a while ago. Then I picked up Magik Vol. 3: Far From Earth and was completely blown away! All I did was pop in the cd and listened to the whole thing non-stop. Absolutely fabulous! Very shortly after the first song began, I turned the lights off, laid on the floor, and let my eyes roll back into my head; that is what good trance is supposed to do to you. I have nothing bad to say about this album. I recommend anyone and everyone to pick up this cd. Whether you're a trance-lover or not, I guarantee you'll love this cd!!!

believe it or not, this is the best volume in the magik series. absolutely beautiful and soothing music that incorporates heavy bass and awsome vocals to make the songs absolutely addictive and danceable. this is one for the ages... my favorites in the magik series in descending order: 3, 5, then 6

I got so hooked now to DJ Tiesto that I'm buying ALL of the "Magik" series. This is my 2nd one so far.
From the beginning, the cd starts with a fast track. Not the other Tiesto stuff that starts slow and you really don't know when the song is going to start...NO. This, from the beginning to end is NON-STOP Tiesto mixes. Very nicely done, beautiful melodies & flawless mixing.
One of my favorites so far is "sea" and "cruising", among other great songs on this album.
I'd highly recommend it to any Tiesto fan.

Dj Tiesto is a god. That's basically it. No one else could spin such wonderful rhythms that take your mind to another place. People should use his albums as therapy.

Rich, soothing, energetic, and empowering with killer melodies and mind blowing breakdowns, this album is totaly organic and 100% awesome from the first track strait to the end. But who could expect less from tiesto? The man is a genious. Are there any cds by him that dont have at least 4 stars? I dont think so. My favorites are magik 3,5,6, insearch of sunrise 3&1, nyana, and forbiddon paradice 7 - deep forest.

Any album Tiesto makes or remixed song he does, you can guarantee it will put you in a TRANCE through a musical journey! I have most of his albums from all his MAGIK series and In Search of Sunrise 1,2, and 3. Including his double CD "Nyana".
I also recommend getting "Tiesto In Concert" DVD, he puts on a GREAT show!

i like magik 1 and 3 the best. magik 1 is more of a dreamy trance while this set is more of an up beat feel good trance where you get chills just listening to the mix.

First off, if you do not have subwoofers, don't buy this cd, cause the bass in this thing is just incredible. i must have counted about 100 different bass notes in the whole thing, I mean its just crazy. If you listen through this thing start to finish, you should be just as pleased as I was. Tiesto is definately my new Trance/Techno Artist. If you liked this, I recommend Paul Oakenfold also. So long and Back to Tiesto.

I have to be honest, my favorite time for trance was about 97 to late 99 I am not sure i like the new sounds. this is a great example of the quick beats, synth heavy sound Trance used to have. i love the CD Tiesto has great tast in picking vinyls and in his early career circa this album the title were unique and obscure. pick up this album if you want a continuous flow of grooves not if you want break filled epic trance.

Magik 3 is my favorite of all the Magik series [although #6 is a close second].

But Magik 3's selection of tracks, and the order they're in is fabulous. "Ice Rain" has great vocals, and comes in a good place of the track order. The best parts of the CD are at the end, however. Everything from Lucy Cotter's "Breath in You" to Pob's "The Awaking" is awesome! some of the fastest beats i've ever heard, and DJ Tiesto mixes them flawlessly. and what better than to have Gouryella's very own "Gouryella" just before the final climax of the CD. just great!
