Load your music into Remix Mode and start remixing songs with the samples you just created in the DJ music maker. Or just play a CD track and trigger rhythm-controlled filters and effects with your keyboard or mouse.
Edit all sound elements separately in real-time. The audioFX rack offers professional effects that can be easily combined and used parallel to each other--including reverb, delay, distortion, pitch shifting and many more. The 10-band equalizer provides the ultimate polish, and the compressor increases the force behind the music.

No.1 Feature of Remixing Kit,
By A Customer
This review is from: Magix DJ Remixing Kit (CD-ROM)
Most music Software just provides you with a mixer and a couple thousand samples to rearrange and then save the rearrangement. What this piece of software lets you do is scan audio CDs that you have in your collection or /wav files on your hard drive and manipulate the sounds you scan. /boggle What this means is that you can create your own samples and then make sounds out of that and then songs out of the loops, for a truly orginal sounding song rather than cut and paste versions of other people's sounds. After you make some of your own songs you can then load two sets of songs up on their digital turntables and mix your own music together just like DJs in a club. It's pretty much the whole nine yards if you want to create truly orginal mixes of your own music. Fantastic!

Magix "see-hear-feel-create-lose work" should be there new and improved slogan. Overall this program is not horrible if it wasn't for some bugs. First off is the positive witch is for a relatively low price you can start remixing and editing music. This software comes with 2 programs one of witch is Remix R. This program is not very useful and the only thing of use I found is changing of the tempo of mp3s. Then you get the DJ Music Maker witch is done relatively well for a lower budget program. If you have the music and sound effects then you can make music relatively easy. Yep, now it's time of the negative. First of all this program is made in Germany and the programming could have been better done by a 12 year old. You often get messages in German and secondly, when you get an error message instead of being like a normal program some messages actually keep coming up over and over again, never stopping. The result you need to close the program and lose your work. Overall I think this is a decent program that is made bad by [the] programming. If I sound angry then so be it. After working over 5 hours on a song continuously I had an error message pop up so I had to close the program. Luckily I had just saved it, but what do you know the sounds and pieces do not load even though they worked 20 seconds ago. ... Also beware that if you have a computer that is not decently fast then this program may not work well. (I have a 1.3g processor w/ 384 mb of ram and I was experiencing some slow down with the music maker.)

it ain't at all easy. This interface is not user friendly. There are a multitude of features that require extensive practice to use effectively. Unlike many software programs, there is no "undo" command, so once you've messed things up, you have to start over again. The tutorials are amateur, and the printed quick start guide assumes you are not a novice. I'm glad I bought it, but know it will take more than the four weeks I have had it to figure out how to make it worth the money.
