This 5 disc collection makes a great starting package to build a loop library from. The loops are categorized well and there is a file included with root note and bpm info on each disc. Magix has excelled in the techno/trance, hiphop and disco/house discs, however the Strictly 80's could easily have been named the Cheesey Rejects. PopRock had many mainstay rock beats that can easily be used across multiple genres. Another weak spot is that I can actually hear the backing track on the vocal samples on the disco/house disc, presumably coming from the headphones of the singer during recording. It's a quiet tinny sounding beat, and on one series I can even hear the piano line of the song she's singing to. A little sloppy.
All in all I gave this a 4 of 5 stars. I will definitely be using this a lot despite it's flaws.
