Moving into a smallish condo so kitchen counter space is limited. This arrived quickly from the vendor in great condition with all needed parts intact. It is easy to mount to the wall and the rubber cover snaps right on, fitting well without having to force it. There is no metal to metal contact with the blades.

There are five wonderfully strong magnets that hold our 4 Henckels steak knives, 3 smaller bladed Kuhn Rikon prep knives, and one larger (6") Wusthof knife. We could fit one more smaller knife on if needed.

Have not noticed any cuts or scratches from removing knives & is easy to clean. It is not an eyesore and love the little 'eye wink' logo that greets you each time you reach for a knife. Great product; hope that Amazon will eventually carry replacement covers which come in lots of primary colors. If we need a second will definitely purchase this little guy again.

Magnets were very weak and knifes dropped causing damage to the knife and counter. Poorly designed product. Cheap product for $20 and would not recommend. I am going to look for a more professional magnet holder.

this rack although very nicely designed, can't hold a chef's knife. not even close.. the magnets are pretty weak.

i suppose its for hanging your steak knives? that seems silly.

This product does exactly what it says it will do... it holds our knives vertically and displays them sharply!

We have a few average size knives and two large knives that are heavy. We worried that it wouldn't hold them up, but if you use the little vertical lines to line up your knife it does the trick quite nicely.

I bought one of these to use with my new colored knives because of the rubber covering--it won't scratch or mar the finish on the knives. Its a nice strong magnet, I just wish the magnet could extend all the way to the ends. I did end up buying a second one because my knives didn't all fit on one. Overall I'm happy with them.

I would return this item except I already got rid of the packaging and would have to pay a re-stocking fee. It's OK for holding small knives in a small space, but an 8" sure seems like it will fall off. I wouldn't recommend this.

Love this!! I am going to buy more, but have not decided on what color. It sure helps to give me more space on the counter. I would like to buy one that would just hold on the side of the refrigerator above the counter, but I can't find it (like other kitchen magnets on the fridge) Also, I liked this size. I got the blue and it is an aqua color....very pretty for a change.
