I bought these for my father, who was having a lot of trouble reading because of a combination of cataracts and macular degeneration. He could read a newspaper article with a hand magnifier, but it was a lot of work. With these, he can SCAN the newspaper and see what parts he wants to read, then read those parts. He can look over a whole page of ads and find what's interesting instead of just being able to read a few square inches. It's a big difference that really matters in his lifestyle.

I'm very pleased. Optically perfect, no flaws. flip up mechanism is excellent, carry case is a plus.

This items works OK, but the lenses are significantly larger than stated in the description or pictured and fairly heavy as well. They require a fairly stout pair of glasses to attach to, preferably a set with large lenses. If you need something light and compact, these are not your best choice.

I was disapointed in this product and returned it. The lenses and very large and heavy. The lense shape is as large as any aviator type sunglasses I have seen and fairly thick glass. Once clipped on your glasses and if you move your head. your glasses will fall off. Maybe you could use a strap around your head to hold them on, but I was not interested in doing that.

I do a lot of embroidery, knitting and close work, and was tired of putting my glasses on and off every few minutes when both hands were otherwise busy. This clip-on is very easy to use, and my vision with it is perfect. When I received it and used it for the first time, I thought it was a life-saver! Great for crafters, and for jobs around the house like when you have to get under the sink and look around. There is one "however" -- the protective material on the clips has already come off, so make sure to keep the clips separated with your fingers when you add them to your glasses so that they don't scratch.

The clip ons work well although they are a bit on the heavy side.I needed them for registration of printed products and these fit the bill.

The clip on eyeglass magnifiers work well. I like the
way they can be raised to return to regular vision and
lowered to magnify. They are just what I need to
do close up sewing and knitting work.

I am 70 years old, have moderate cataracts and severe astigmatism. I tried these first with the desktop monitor and am stunned at the difference. Everything is larger and clearer. After about an hour of browsing, I went to my little netbook which I had quit using after trying several ways to read it comfortably. I relaxed at the kitchen table and truly enjoyed it for the first time in 2 years. My Kindle was the next target and I can read without having very large fonts. And I just got these clip-ons in the mail today.
