This carbide tipped router bit is specifically designed and manufactured for the high quality demanded by woodworking industrial applications. The cutting edges of this router bit are made from high industrial grade micrograin carbide tips brazed onto a heat-treated carbon steel body thus leading to exceptional hardness and rigidity. Designed for the Legacy Ornamental Mill?. Used to mill rope and pillowed diamond designs on spindle and columns up to 11" diameter. These bits can also be used for other unusual groove/bead forming applications i.e. flat mouldings or indexed rosettes. #7584, #7585 and #7586 can be used in conjunction with the Combination Barley Twist bits to create big diameter barley twist profiles.
