A bi-metal bandsaw blade is made with a cobalt high speed steel tooth edge combined with a durable, spring steel backing material. This blade cuts faster and lasts longer than carbon steel blades. It can cut all types of woods, especially ideal for hard woods, i.e. oak, maple, walnut or cherry. It is also most commonly used for metalcutting, i.e. carbon steels, light alloy steels, mold steels and tool steels. There may be a number of other bandsaws or models that use the same blade lengths as the ones listed: 70-1/2" band saw blades suit the following models: Craftsman? 10" 921400; Atlas? Workshop 9360, 912; Rikon? 10-305; If in doubt, to determine bandsaw blade length: 1 - Check the owner's manual of your bandsaw machine for specifications.2 - If the owner's manual is not available, cut your old bandsaw blade so that it lies flat on a level surface, and measure its length. This method will provide the most possible accurate length.

Had a 9" bandsaw from (HoDe), used the metal-cutting blades from that store which had no durability and wore out quickly. That saw was not quite large enough for my needs. After four years of frustration with that saw, I replaced it with a 10" bandsaw from (men of craft), correct length metal-cutting blades were not available either at the local store or their online store. Could not find correct blades at any other local store so had to search online, found these, got two. After some use, these blades are much better than the previous blades. Smooth and quick cutting, no wandering from side to side. The better saw is made even better with these blades. Good tool for my shop.
