I bought this for my son for Christmas. He wanted a 19" flat screen. I didn't relish spending 300. to 350., so I kept putting off purchasing. I'm glad I did. I saw this at Amazon for such a good price, I snapped it up, but it was so close to Christmas, I didn't think I would receive it in time. I did. Thank you, Amazon. The picture quality is awesome and sound is excellent. It looks great and has easy set up. The only thing I would change, the picture doesn't cover the entire screen. There is a 1 1/2" to 2" black border on either side, so the picture is really only about 15". This is the first LCD TV I've purchased, so I don't know if this is standard. Still, it deserves 5 stars. The picture quality is crystal clear and the definition is so good, you can actually see the individual strains of hair, on the images on screen.

UPDATE: While checking out the TV and it's working order, I found it does go full screen. On the remote, there is a "format" button...press that and you'll be prompted to choose your desired screen. There are three or four options available for the screen appearance and size. There is absolutely no picture distortion and this is one the the simplest remotes to operate.

My local Walgreens is selling off brand, 15" flat screens, for 179.00. This is an excellent buy. I highly recommend. Thanks again, Amazon.

I picked this up for my mother. She doesn't have a lot of space, but she needed something a little bigger then her old 15" LCD. The best thing about this LCD is that it is simple and easy to use. The buttons on the remote are well laid out and are logical. If you are just looking for a simple LCD, then this is it. If you care about audio quality, you need to hook it up to a separate receiver. So simplicity is the key work here.

i got this tv in dec 2009 and by feb 2010 is had burned out, the power doesnt work, i cant even turn it on manually. i had to but another one, this time i went to target and got a 3 yr guarantee and even the picture is better on the new )polaroid) tv. shop around, you can get same pricae on better tvs

Our Grandma wanted a small LCD TV for her bedroom but she needed a TV that had an accessible exterior earphone jack. This Magnavox LCD TV had exactly that at a price that was affordable. The earphone jack is located on the side of the TV panel which made it easily accessible to her. Other TV models, if they had an earphone jack, were located in the back of the unit. The audio is perfect and the buttons on the remote are simple and easy to use.

Great everything and a good buy for a LCD use in every day at supper time.

This was a great TV for the bedroom and I would have given it five stars when I purchased it, but it didn't last a year! Picture went out and even though I have sound, I would really prefer a TV that has a picture. First bad product I've bought thru Amazon.

I am enjoying my new Magnavox TV!!!!!! Very good quality and it's a space saver. I would recommend to everyone to check out Amazon's good prices and fast delivery. Thumbs up!!!

We bought a 19" Magnavox HDTV and almost two years to the month that we bought it it started acting up. I can't even begin to describe the horrible noises that it makes. I wrote the company a letter and have never heard back from them. I am looking for a new one and will NOT consider Magnavox/Phillips.

I had been wanting to purchase a small, affordable television for my dining room.I found this and decided to order it as part of my Christmas gift this year. I received it very quickly,just in time for New Years Eve! It is easy to use and the screen quality is really great! Thank you! I am very happy with my purchase.

Five stars all the way. I purchased three of them over a short period about 18 months ago. Easy to set up and use and plenty big for all but the living room where I have a 37 inch Magnavox with a built in DVD. I had experienced no issues with any of them, and they are one of the cleanest, best looking TVs out there. In addition, I can use the same remote for all of them with the exception of DVD operation of course.
