I was very excited when I first saw this toy available. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter got her hands on her cousins "small" version but with the magnets I knew I couldn't let her play with them. I found this "big" set and got them for her for Christmas. I was VERY disappointed how weak the magnets are. She is 2 1/2 and cant build ANYTHING because there is not a strong enough hold on them. I even tried building something tall and couldn't get past a 2 story structure. She is having more fun with her brothers "small" set and I'm just sure to watch her like a hawk so she keeps them out of her mouth. I have an entire "big" set sitting here that I cant return and isn't worth it :(
Don't waste your money!

this is the second set of these i have bought and think they are a very neat toy with great deucational value. i actually had 5 children sitting around on christmas day playing with them quitely. all the adults in the room were amazed they were so into it. the only slight issue i had with them was the magnetswere not as strong as i would have liked..but the children all had a good time..great product and i would recommend them as a unique gift.

We have two of these sets because our son likes building with them so much. From 5 on, he has been able to build large constructions with the magnetic balls and cylinders in this set. We like this set very much more than others we have seen and had because the balls are large and not something or dogs could swallow. The toy lends itself to learning about structure and balance. Just a very clever set with good sample pictures to get the curious child busy.
