I am an elementary teacher and bought this book to use with my fourth graders. As a source of activities during our explorations of magnets it was invaluable. In addition to the "magic tricks", we had a GREAT time using the magnets to learn about their properties! Many of my students ordered the book to learn more magic tricks on their own. It's a fun, educational book!

The book was great and inspired my kids to learn about magnets. The best part is that the book introduced magic that they could do easily. The book was easy to understand with graphics that attracted kids. The only problem is that the magnets broke easily if dropped. Three of the five doughnut magnets broke within the first day of use.

I purchased this book, actually two of them, for our homeschool to go along with magnets and electricity. After we explored what magnets were and did the tricks in the book, my sons spend most of that day playing with the magnets. They would say "Hey Mom, come see what it can do now!"

I ordered the book Magnetic Magic for my son because the description said it comes with the magnets. It arrived and there were no magnets. Amazon was kind enough to send me a new one for free and again it came with no magnets. So Amazon refunded my money. I now have a magic magnet book with no magnets and no way to for my son to do anything in the book. Which means I also have a very sad broken hearted son. I in no way blame Amazon since they were not responsible for the book and the description but I am highly upset with the businesses who lied in the description, sold me an incomplete order, and left me with a sad child.

This is a great product for kids. I don't know why Klutz no longer carries it. I is fun, high interest and educational.
