Editorial Reviews

Product Description
This five-piece from Belgium delivers soulful indie rock tunes. After their well-received debut "Echoes From The Engine Room", a busload of rave reviews, and great shows on big Beneiux summer festivals, they're back with this Funzalo-released album, produced by John Morand (Sparklehorse, Cracker). Throwing forty years of rock music into their blender, Mint still manage to sound exactly like themselves. Distinctive songwriting, lush orchestrations, and a shoe-gazer aesthetic. A trend-dodging, exhilarating listen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mint Magnetism Mint Magnetism Mint Magnetism , May 21, 2006
By Nicky (Belgium) - See all my reviews
Mint is getting really hot in Belgium with their fabulous new album 'Magnetism'! I always listen to the album from the first song till the last while driving in my car... and believe me ... I do a lot of miles! In april I got the chance to see them live and I experienced a few goose-bump-moments!! 'Ah you left me', 'Magnetism' and 'Winter of 1985' are my absolute favourites. Don't miss out this album, you'll be very very sorry!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible...., February 15, 2008
By Jeeves (Austin, TX) - See all my reviews
I found these guys on CDBaby and took a chance on the disc. Man I'm glad I did, they have been at the top of my play list ever since... It is so good, I always listen to the ENTIRE album start to finish, wish I could find more by them, and would love to see them live...

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best Belgian album of 2006!, May 3, 2006
By Liesje (Belgium) - See all my reviews
I saw them playing by accident at Pukkelpop 2 years ago. I was waiting for the show from another amazing Belgian band Ghinzu. Mint came up first and stole my heart. What a discovery it was! Now, about 2 years later I heard this amazing song "your shopping list are poetry" on the radio. What can I say, I bought the new album, loved it and it still got a special place in my cdplayer!
