As a 30-year-old kid, I love these. I bought this pack a couple of days ago, and have already bought a 70-piece clear set to go with it.

If I have one complaint, it's that the ration of 3 rods for every 2 balls is insufficient. Even from a single pack, I always end up with a dozen or more balls left over when all the rods are used. 46 rods and 24 balls would be a better mix in the 70 packs, I think.

Great fun, highly reccomended.

I'm a 20 yr-old kid & I love these as well. I have this exact set & I can tell you they do NOT crack or brake. I've to agree with another reviewer though, the bars & balls are not proportioned well. Waaay too many balls.

This is a toy I reccomend to kids who dont put things in their mouths. lol. But anyway really fun and keeps me busy for hours. Great price too. WARNING: DONT LEAVE NEAR CELL PHONES, LAPTOPS, OR ETC. Can seriously damage electronics if you leave them near it.

When I got this toy it was so fun!You can really use your imagination and if you don't have any ideas you can use the manual booklet it have great ideas.The only problem was when I decided to put the magnet pieces back in the box they kept getting stuck together.After they got in the box.And the pictures in the booklet are a little hard to make.Those were the only problems other than that it is a great toy!

As you'd expect, the rods are made of plastic with a chrome coating. They feel a bit light and chintzy but work as advertised. 70 pieces is enough to build some small structures, but I plan to expand my set.
