legos move on over.. magna world is here!!!, December 29, 2005
This review is from: Magnetix MagnaWorld Magna Town Square (Toy)
This is the best!! my 9 yr old put it together on his own and has been gleaming with pride!!not thrilled about the clock itself but the unit as a whole is great...he has always been a fan of legos so this was perfect!!i lot easier to keep together. i would not advise purchasing from toys r us as you can find it less expensive elsewhere such as AC moore or other craft and hobby shops!he is now working on another larger building and will give review when that is complete...

Big Disappointment, December 24, 2005
This review is from: Magnetix MagnaWorld Magna Town Square (Toy)
My 8 yr old son is a big fan of the Magnetix Products. He saw the Magnetix MagnaWorld Series in a local Toys R Us and begged for it for Christmas. We purchased the Skyscraper Series and the City Series. It is such a huge disappointment!! It is extremely difficult to manipulate. It is only magnetized on the bottoms and tops of the walls- not on the sides- making it virtually impossible to build any of the models (unless you are an octopus). Even my very adept husband found it frustrating when trying to help. Magnetix, in general, are way too pricey but I definitely would NOT recommend the "MagnaWorld" line to anyone. It is going back to the store ASAP.

Missing Parts and Wrong Parts, December 25, 2005
This review is from: Magnetix MagnaWorld Magna Town Square (Toy)
I echo the first review with my dissapointment of this product. The instructions list different parts than are packaged in the box so you are unable to put together the clock tower properly. The pieces don't match the colors on the box cover or the instructions so you are unable to attempt to put it together in spite of the tiny little pictures on the instructions. We have to many pieces of the wrong shapes so the clock tower is going back to the store. We will encourage our children to select something different at the toy store. And don't look for help on their web site, most of the forums are not open for viewing because they are not approved! The forum is also not easy to find. Magnetix needs to work on their quality control and customer service!
