Jose Luis "Jay-el" Hinojosa was born into humble beginnings in 1958 Mexico, to parents with no formal education. At the age of 7, his family immigrated to the USA in search of a better life. After having graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Jay-el received his MD degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. It was during his senior year at Brown that the writing bug bit him when he took a course entitled "Personal & Reflective Writing"...and he's been infected ever since! He's published eight books, and his book "Master & Disciple," which teaches good moral values, earned him the 2008 Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame Author of the Year award. He's written his autobiography, entitled "Chameleon," which he'll perform as a one-man show that tackles important topics like bullying and self-worth issues. Stay tuned for a performance near you!

I am an RN and enjoyed Magnets for Health: A Practical Guide because it is comprehensible reading telling what everyone wants to know about magnets. How and why they work and the impact they have on health & wellness. The book gives the history of magnets as far back as 400 B.C., the application of magnets in the health field today, the effects of magnets on our bodies, and recommended applications. As a health care professional, I feel obligated to share this information with everyone. It is a wonderful way to make a difference for others.
