About the Author
Fred Goudon's professional photography career began in the early 1980s in his home country of France. There he studied journalism and communications and worked as a press photographer. In the late 80s, he moved to Los Angeles, California. Though he went to Los Angeles to be a news correspondent for various magazines, he began shooting male models for modeling agencies. Since then, Goudon has specialized in men's beauty and body shots. As a successful photographer, Goudon's portfolio includes successful art photography titles including Bedtime Stories (2000), Aqua (2005) and Sunday Morning (2007). His fourth brand new photobook, Virility, was released in 2008. Goudon's work has been featured in magazines around the world including MM, Sensitif, Voyage G, Entrevue, Refresh, Zero, Blue and DNA. A fourth calendar featuring Goudon's work called Masculinity will be released in June 2009. Goudon's first, LES DIEVX DV STADE 2006, was a successful French release. His second and third calendars, Magnifique 2009 and Bedtime Stories 2009, were published by 10% and PROVOCATEUR. Goudon's portfolio also includes book covers for French versions of Edmund White novels and Bruce McGraw posters.
