I just received the MagnoGrip tool belt with suspenders for Christmas. Overall, I am very pleased, however, I have found a major flaw in the sizing. I have a 43 inch waist and am 6 foot 2 inches tall. The waist barely fits; it is on the last set of holes and it is tight around my waist. According to the web site, the belt should fit a waist to 49 inches there is no way a person with a 49 inch waist could wear the belt. Second the suspenders fit but they are about 4 inches from being fully extended. So it fits fine but if you are 6'5" or 6'6" you may have an issue. I will be contacting MagnoGrip about the waist and if anything is done I will update the post. Finally, I Home Depot is way cheaper Amazon by about $10.
************* Update 1/20/10 I originally gave this product 3 stars for the smaller belt. However, I decided to contact MagnoGrip and emailed back and forth with Andre who works there. Not only did they email be promptly back, but Andre while on a trip to their China factory had a belt made 4 inches longer and sent it to me . . . no charge. Rarely, do I extol a company, in this case I am happy too. So many times companies seem to disregard their customers not so with MagnoGrip. I hope that their "normal" belt size will get a little better, but if you are not sure at least you can contact the company and know you will get a fair shake if you have a problem. |
