Magnolia is a very talented singer and musician. Her music CD reminds me of Neil Young's "Harvest" album of the early 1970s. I would have to say that Magnolia compares very favorably to Neil Young. Her album "Magnolia" is all in French as Magnolia (Melanie Auclair) is Quebecoise. Her CD is difficult to classify as to the type of music it is. I'd have to say that it is a combination of folk and country. I took a chance when I bought this CD because there was no picture of it nor was there any description or identifying information of her or her CD. Her label appears to be Audiogram. I hope that the little information that I have provided will help to distinguish her from all the other "Magnolias" listed. My favorite track on her CD is "C'est fini, c'est tout." It starts out subdued instrumentally and ends with a flourish, in my opinion. I saw a video of her (on her website) singing "Mes avances" and playing her "clang clung" and she appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself performing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her. If you enjoy listening to a great Chanteuse Quebecoise, I would highly recommend this album. I found her while looking for another great Chanteuse Quebecoise, Isabelle Boulay.Magnolia
