Climb up the highest trails in the Hi-Tec Altitude Waterproof Safety Toe hiking boots. Features a waterproof, seam-sealed nubuck leather upper. A padded leather collar and fully gusseted leather tongue provide a supportive fit. Dri-lex lining maintains a cool, breathable environment. The Comfort-Tec removable insole and a lightweight compression molded EVA midsole offer enhanced cushioning. A steel shank delivers excellent support. The carbon rubber hiking outsole gives sure traction on a variety of surfaces. These boots also feature a protective safety toe.

First off, this is a Hi-Tec boot, not a Magnum boot, so I did not get what I thought I was going to get. The boot seems well constructed, nice quality leather, nice lining. You will need to replace the insert almost immediately, I usually go with New Balance inserts, but that is up to you. Also, the soles do not seem sturdy as they have give (when you have the boot in your hand, you can press the sole upward). I prefer a more solid sole. You will also probably have to replace the laces as the ones they come with are too short if you use all of the notches. Overall, boot did not fit well and gave almost no ankle support, I am returning immediately.

Man these shoes are great. I'm a working father and most of the times during the day I'm walking or standing in and out up or down. One day my feet started hurting and I knew it was time to get some new shoes so I knew did not have time to go to a store so I looked online.What I found were the most comfortable shoes I have had in four years and the price was great. The best working shoes I have had in a long time.
