I love these boots. It looks like they are no longer being produced (or carried with only 12s left) which is a shame. This is an attractive boot for casual wear. I used tis boot for casual wear and found the boot comfortable to stay in for lengthy periods of time. When I have to stand on hard surface for lengthy periods of time the boot has made that standing comfortable due to the excellent support built into the boot. The only drawbacks to the boot I found included that the life of the boot seemed short; it got "ratty" looking quickly, but you expect that from suede. Also, my experience with the boot in the cold was about all bad. Poor traction on paved surfaces in very cold weather, and my feet just plain froze in them if I was outside for any length of time. Again, outstanding in warm weather, outstading for long periods (12-24 hours) without being able to take your boots off. I wish I had purchased more pairs for the future.

After having first worn in comfort and confidence these fantastic boots (daily) in Nevada's triple-digit summer I can now add to that experience an 11-day stretch in New England's cold (down to single-digits) winter. My opinion hasn't changed a bit: paired with BassPro's RedHead® Lifetime Guarantee Hunting Socks (for Men, though I'm a woman) they kept my feet dry and comfortable in both extremes.

Aside from the fact that suede is notoriously easy to stain (I prefer my boots looking good as well as comfortable) these are the best all round casual/work boots I've ever owned and they pack easily, too. By the way ladies, I typically wear a Women's 8.5 Medium width - these boots in Men's 7M fit comfortably with medium or heavy wool socks.

I was determined to take them (on the plane) back to Connecticut and found a wool sock stuffed in each boot still left room to bend over the soft boot "top" so they could be jammed (one each)into the zip ends of a small (10"x11"x19") carry-on duffle. That and my purse (an L.A. Police Gear Bailout Bag Jr. @10"x 8"x4.5") was all I traveled with for 11 days! Talk about low- maintenance...

I like these boots much more than standard military issued boots. These boots have much better ankle support. I haven't rolled, or twisted my ankles since I have worn these boots. They are comfortable and arer light weight, and my feet stay cool.
