Humourus, but barely believable story
about guy who wants it all; lives in mystery writer's mansion and has to suf- fer from stuffy Brit landlord / caretaker of estate; has black, helicopter pilot, best buddy and runs Investigative service. Naturally, a lot of babes bed him and he has daughter by another woman, some- where else, who takes care of her and DOESN't charge him alimony! Naturally, he Rick and T.C. are Vietnam (South- east Asia) vets; sounds more like Fan- tasy Island to me! Lookk for many ex- Hawai'i Five-0 regulars like Glenn Cannon, Seth Sakai, Lt. Tanaka, played by very fine character actor, Kwan Hi Lam, Carol Kai, Lani Kai, amny other show up from time to time in the 5 yr., run [1980-85] of this well filmed but seriously exaggerated show. I like Tom Selleck, but this show doesn't str- etch reality, IT SUSPENDS IT! |
