THIS IS NOT THE REAL MAGPUL GRIP.

The item number is that of the magpul angled forward grip but you will receive a grip labeled magpul PTS. This is made for airsoft guns and not made BY magpul, but imported from china. After verifying this information with magpul they were adamant that i not mount this on a real firearm and instead send the item back. The real deal, made in the USA and made for real rifles is available for the same price so keep looking if you are after this awesome product.

I feel the need to add that amazon customer service provided me with a full refund for this item and i have the correct item on order

As noted in a previous review, this is a PTS product and is not to be used for real firearms. Otherwise it is fine for what it is if you are using Airsoft etc. The single star is because the seller did not fully represent this piece as PTS, creating extra hassle and expense for me to return it. Vendor did provide a reasonably prompt refund.

I got this for my M4 carbine, but as soon I received it I realized the quality was poor (airsoft). I installed on the rifle and there's still a little play with it, even tighten all the way it still moves a little.
Not worth having it installed on you duty rifle.

This foregrip is easy to install about three minutes. It is comfortable and have better control of my ar15 for better target aquisition. Magpul products are superior and of course made in the USA!

Nice feel. Gives you better control over the gun than an out reached hand under the rail. Doesn't feel awkward in your hand like a straight fore grip.

even though i own a PTS version and the real deal i can not see nor feel a difference in the materials or see a difference in the quality. i hear that many buyers were sent the pts version. it does not seem right to pay 40 bucks for a $20 item. since it ships through amazon contact them before it ships and let them know that you do not want the pts.

I recieved this in Nov 2010 and it was the firearm model NOT the airsoft that some people have complained about. Product was excellent! Good feel, strength and much more comfortable to shoot than either using a standard hand guards or broom handle. Excellent handling once installed. Very easy to transition from target to target with a M-4 syle rifle. I installed a UTG 2-Piece Metal Quad Rail System specifically so I could install this AFG on my M-4 style rifle. It was definitely worth the extra weight it gives the rifle. Give it a try and you'll probably be happy with the result.

Your grip on a rife is all personal preference. For me, this AFG made all the difference. It allows for a good sturdy 'pull' on the handguard which allows me tobrace it well against my shoulder. It also means that my trigger hand can rest on the pistol grip and makes for a very relaxed and easy trigger pull for me.
Great product.

It's not for everyone, but this grip fits in with the training philosophies of the Magpul Dynamics classes and DVDs. It mounts on a standard picatinny rail and feels very solid. It really does help you hold your rifle in a more natural position and allows better lateral (roll) control of your weapon than your standard "broom-handle" type fore-grips. Magpul has a reputation of high quality at a fair price and this is another item that reinforces that. If you're willing to take the time to train with this and get proficient (which you should be doing regardless) this will reward you with better accuracy.

Good product, good value. Highly recommended.

Ditto on the comments about this being a PTS version. I didn't notice it until I read the reviews. I looked and, yep, sure enough its the PTS version Someone needs to get Amazon to change the product description
