I bought this product for my S&W MP15-22 and love it! The stock on the gun originally had some play and felt sort of cheap. The MAGPUL stock fixed that quickly! The install is quick and easy and the product functions and looks great. Best of all the gun now feels solid when against my shoulder! I would recommend this to anyone!

Factory stocks on AR type firearms except for the full size fixed A1 type always have a lot of play in them. The Magpul CTR stock with it's friction lock provides a rock solid feel to your AR. I can see why this is probably the most popular replacement stock on the market. It is easy to install and very well built.

Lightweight and well-made, I'm glad that I chose to spend the extra cash for the CTR. Decent cheek rest, though at some point I'll probably splurge for a properly sloped sliding stock if I can in my mind justify the expense (amazing, but I always somehow do...). The additional lockdown lever is great; it firmly holds the CTR to the mil-spec buffer tube without any play or rattle whatsoever. The black finish is a perfect match to the rest of the rifle. Great shipping speed and service from the seller was also a huge plus as well. Only regret (and it's only a mild one), is the loss of access to the storage I had to the interior of the buffer tube. Otherwise, it's a great add-on to any AR-type rifle.

This was a great addition to my Stag Model 8. It fit absolutely perfectly over the buffer tube and there is no wiggle or rattle (unlike the factory one). The locking mechanism was also a nice addition to ensure the stock is secured in whatever position you choose.

Overall I am very happy, Magpul makes quality products and I would definitely buy this again.

The stock is superior to the regular M-4 telescoping stock. There is far less play which is important, far less play means less noise that can give you away.

I have always hated the rattle and feel of the stock collapsible stock. This stock put and end to that. Once locked in your preferred position the thing feels solid. It's good to know that if you have to pull you rifle out of the case(usually by the stock) that the stock will remain in the propper position. That is not always the case with the old CAR stock. The shape of the buttpad feels better too. It came with the rubber buttpad which also provides better grip. There are several sling mounting options, either string it through the slots or there is an ambi mount if you want to use a QD (quick detatch) swivel.

I tried this on a S&W AR15-22, as well as a Ruger Mini 14. Once you lock it down, the stock has zero play. Military Spec fits perfectly for the above mentioned rifles.

got this Magpul CTR stock to replace the old one MOE Magpul and that brings a big difference to my M&P 15TS - feels snug, no play, simply how it should to be - just right :)

Great, Affordable Stock. Fit and finish is excellent, action is smooth and it is a nice visual improvement over then standard M4 style stock. Highly recommended.

Strong and sturdy are just two words that describe how amazing this stock is. It fits like a glove on my Smith and wesson M&P15 AR. No side to side movement at any position and the install was simple as 1-2-3.
