Product Description

The most exciting brand of ukuleles on the market today just got even better by offering several new ukuleles in two of the most iconic guitar shapes made famous throughout the 1950's and 60's. The ULP-30CH LP Style Ukulele in Cherry Sunburst, though the look of this instrument speaks of rock and roll, it still retains that traditional tone and charm of the Hawaiian Islands and the honor of being the most played instrument the world over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality ukulele! Can't beat the price! November 30, 2009

This is an amazing little ukulele. Great tone, well made and just a lot of fun. I like it so much, I bought two...one of which will travel with me everywhere I go. Playing this uke makes me smile!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I expected... really nice! February 12, 2011

This ukulele is beautiful and has a nice tone. People say that Mahalo ukuleles have bad intonation but I had bought four ukuleles one week and this was one of them. This ukulele was the only one NOT REQUIRING SETUP. It came perfectly set up and has excellent intonation. It came with Aquila strings which saves you another six bucks off the price as most ukuleles in this price range do not come with them. The tuners on it work great! For whatever reason, this thing is super easy to adjust. This ukulele has a binding around the body and also on the neck. If you want to look for flaws in the finish you can find them but overall I think it is excellent. Looks really good! the only thing negative is the frets are sharp on the edges but they haven't bothered me yet. Its an excellent ukulele and now I am tempted to buy all the colors in this! Maybe get me an electric one!

4.0 out of 5 stars Minor paint blemishes. April 24, 2013

Sounds good, no structural problems. Had a couple of blemishes in the finish and one crack in the paint (maybe 1/2 inch) on the front near the soundhole. Great product otherwise!

2.0 out of 5 stars Fire wood February 7, 2012

While this ukulele looks really cool, it did not sound good at all. The neck on this instrument warped in a matter of days making the sound quality decrease evn more. This ukulele would not stay in tune for more than a song. For the price of this instrument I would and will pony up $40 and get Laniki and something of a better quality.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not able to tune October 17, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
I never played an instrument before. The sound from this Ukulele is bad. I took it in to the music store and they tuned it for me. It still does not sound as nice as the Ukulele my music teacher uses. I am still debating whether to return it. It looks beautiful and is pleasing to behold. But the sound? Not so good.
