5.0 out of 5 stars Love the Item
I bought 3 sets of the Oasis (making 12 napkins) for thanksgiving and special dinners. The color came out just the way I thought and better when I opened the package. I would by other colors in this napkin any day. Washing is great and you can iron if needed. I loved the small details for the border.

2.0 out of 5 stars These napkins look and feel cheap
I got these napkins in red and I was thrilled to see that the color was exactly as depicted in the picture of the product. But when I opened the package I found the napkins rather wrinkled and very stiff. So I decided to wash them (cold water as recommended). The cotton is thick and it remained quite stiff. But as I tried to fold them, I discovered that one (out of four)...

I got these napkins in red and I was thrilled to see that the color was exactly as depicted in the picture of the product. But when I opened the package I found the napkins rather wrinkled and very stiff. So I decided to wash them (cold water as recommended). The cotton is thick and it remained quite stiff. But as I tried to fold them, I discovered that one (out of four) wasn't even square and its stitching was bowed rather than straight. Generally, even for the square napkins, the finish of the hem and the stitching are very sloppy; there is material wrinkled inside the hem, the stitching wonders away from a straight line, and there are some loose threads. Perhaps I just got a bad batch...

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded my expectations, October 27, 2010

These napkins are gorgeous. They wash very well, too. A little light ironing for a crisp look, but not 100% necessary all of the time.

I was surprised at the quality of the napkins. My friends commented on them too and wanted to know where I got them. It is very hard to find really nice napkins, so this was a great find.

The napkins are a Christmas gift for my daughter. I hope that she is as happy with them, as I am.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice Quality but need to be ironed!, August 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We bought these napkins because they had nice hemstitching and also because they were "cotton". Cotton does wrinkle however there are occasions when some fabrics are less wrinkle prone. So many of the napkins and table linens that are offered today are made of polyester and other synthetics which while are ok on the table are not so great when wiping your mouth and face with. I personally dislike the slippery and "slimy" feel of slick fabrics while I'm enjoying a nice meal. These napkins arrived and we were impressed with the quality and finish work. Once we washed them we realized that we would HAVE to iron these every time we laundered them as they come out of the dryer like wrinkled rags! Be prepared to spend time ironing these if you purchase or having someone in your home who is willing to take on this task.

Read a few negative reviews on the "hole spacing" on these. But for a casual summer napkin, it's perfect. Have washed these three times so far (cold water) and no fading or unraveling.
