Unlike the first season of this wonderful series this second part of Mahoromatic was a little more dramatic for half of it's episodes, and while still funny for the most part the ending will leave you a little sad and a little appeased at how they did the finale. The special Summer OVA was a nice added bonus though after seeing the final episode and will leave you with giggles that make up for the heart-aching feelings from watching the final episode. Like the first Mahoromatic collection set the video is anamorphic widescreen and the voice cast for the Japanese/English actors/actresses did a great job for their roles in this entertaining series. So if you watched the first collection set and found it entertaining but wanted more drama here's the second collection waiting for you...

This collection was a really good find to me. It takes the original series does away with some of the overused fan service and tries to focus more on the story at hand. The entire thing was just greatness, a 5 star easy, but the ending just seemed to work out too perfectly for my taste. There was just something at the end that threw off the whole logical emotional response. !!SPOILER!! It would've been better if Mahoro hadn't returned. But I tend to like scarred characters better anyway!!SPOILER!!

I enjoyed this Anime collection very much. You can find other reviews that will tell you all you could want to know about the story and content. So in summation it was amusing and enjoyable.
