The wait is over- finally a great dance song out of Romania!, July 27, 2004
This review is from: Mai Ai Hee (Audio CD)
This song has been a phenomenon in Italy since it premiered. In every club and street market, the song blares and instantly brings revelry. While Romanian is a hard language to master, everyone still tries to sing along. If you are looking for a truly great song to just enjoy while goofing off with friends, you can't do much better than haiducci! Please, take a chance on this CD- you won't regret it!

C'mon Now, it's just fun happy warm weather dancin' music, March 30, 2005
This review is from: Mai Ai Hee (Audio CD)
Sometimes you just need a happy song that you can hop around the house to. This one is it. It's unfortunate that the group broke up already. My story is...I bought a Total Gym, I wondered how I was going to get myself started, then I put on a couple versions of Mai Ai Hee that totalled 10 minutes, put them on a loop and voila, I have my workout program. I have sore muscles where I haven't had muscles for 20 years. These reviews should be on the main page and not the reviews that put the song down. Also, I'm a huge BSB fan and am going to their show tonight in DC, so to put them in the same category is fine, FUN HAPPY MUSIC!!! (Don't forget to listen to Despre Tine and De De Plang Chitarele)

More in the USA, July 24, 2004
This review is from: Mai Ai Hee (Audio CD)
It's interesting reading the comments on this review page--particularly those from American younger listeners who seldom have the chance to hear music from around the world thanks to syndicated radio stations, stuffy producers, and suspicious types running the music industry who think they know markets and sales. Speak up listeners, get out more, and demand more. The world is full of great music and it's not all in the US, UK and Sweden (although Sweden's pretty good :-) O-Zone is an interesting group--hope they produce more successes--in their own language and continue to gather listeners. I'm not only over 13--I'm 47 but feeling pretty young and broadminded. And I believe that music is the best ambassador for the world.
