Really good,

This review is from: Maiden Rock (Kindle Edition)
This book to me, seemed quite different to the others in the series, probably because it was events wayyyyy to close to the main character, Claire. I enjoyed this book and felt that it actually addressed a lot of the issues that teens face today. The writing, as always, was descriptive and I could imagine the places written about, not just the characters. I felt some characters were a little weak, however, it needed each character to tell the tale. If you've enjoyed the others in this series you will love this one :)

I've read all of Mary Logue's previous Claire Wakins books. I find her books easy to read, yet enjoyable. I would like to see more development among the secondary characters. Their back stories, etc. So much more could be told about them.

Maiden Rock is one of those books that you cannot put down! In addition to the suspense, it also provides some insight into the youth of today and the challenges they face.
