Product Description
The Mail Arrival Notification System is convenient, secure and fun. The transmitter easily attaches to a standard horizontally-hinged mailbox (open from top to bottom) with supplied adhesive strip. When your mailbox is open a pleasant chime sounds and a red light flashes on the receiver to alert you that mail has arrived. The red indicator light continues to flash on the receiver until you reset it. With this instantaneous alert you help prevent identity theft by reducing the time your mail sits in the mailbox. The system will also help guard against mailbox tampering because it will alert you any time anyone opens your mailbox. During inclement weather it eliminates repeated trips to the mailbox just to see if the mail has arrived. The durable weatherproof sensor provides dependable service for many years. The receiver can be placed on a table, installed on a wall, or moved from room to room. The unit has a range of 150 feet (with no obstructions). The set includes the receiver, transmitter, 2 AA receiver batteries, 1 No. 23A, 12V transmitter battery and, double-sided tape. All batteries are included and replacements are readily available. Includes low battery indicator for both transmitter and receiver.

This seems to be a good example of a product that is simple, well designed, and just works. For the size, it's quite loud (has two volume levels). It has a button on the top that you press to "reset" it after it has been activated when the mail comes. The sensor is small and unobtrusive. It just works.

It took less than five minutes to set mine up. It plays a soft classical tune for a few seconds. You have a switch on the side for lo volume or hi volume. The lo volume could be heard throughout the house.
Could clearly hear it in my back yard when the volume is set on Hi. It has a reset button on top that you press to turn off the light. The unit has a flashing light to let you know when the batteries which are included are low. Was also impressed with the prompt shipment from Gitway. Bob :-)

MailMinder Mail Notification System It works great and the signal goes through the garage door and another wall. Mail box is 100 ft. away.
