A treasure of a read for the thinking and spiritual Jew,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Maimonides, Expanded Edition: Torah and Philosophic Quest (Paperback)
One of the great post-Biblical Jewish philosophers, "Maimonides: Torah and Philosophic Quest" discusses his writings and how they had a certain duality of piety through tradition and law, and piety through one's own way of uniting with God. His philosophies in both aspects ask much of readers to think about themselves, the world around them, and God. "Maimonides" is a treasure of a read for the thinking and spiritual Jew.
