I LOVE this cookbook. I'm a huge soup fan and I collect soup cookbooks. This is the best one I have ever seen. My favorite recipe is the marinated steak soup. An amazing combination of flavors you just have to experience to believe.

Soups are my favorite thing to cook in the winter time. This book is fantastic. Interesting combinations, these soups rival the best restaurant soups I have ever had.

Every soup I have made from this book has been wonderful. The combinations of flavors is incredible. I particular liked finding some of my favorite restaurant soups presented here. I attended a soup cooking class by Ray Overton and decided that I needed this book! It has been a great purchase.

I enjoy cooking as a hobby, usually on the weekends. Main-Course Soups has given me a delicious soup every time. Everything I have made is absolutely delicious. My partner can't wait until the weekend to see what is simmering on the stove.

This small soup recipe book holds some of the very best soup recipes I have come across in 45 years of cooking. All of them I would rate as a B to A++. For those just starting into the joy of cooking, it has in the first pages excellent methods of creating your own stocks (chicken, beef, fowl, fish). The recipes are simple, yet have a wholesome family taste - none are overboard on taste; hence, the kids will enjoy.
