Basic Navigation in Maine..., February 9, 2009
The 2008 Easy Finder edition of the Rand McNally Maine State Map is designed for basic navigation around Maine. At a scale of one inch to 12.5 miles, the detail is just enough to get the traveler around to the principal towns. The two-sided, plastic-coated map divides the state, with one side showing the Maine Coast and inland to Millinocket, and the other side covering northern Maine, including Baxter State Park.
The map includes insets with more detail of Auburn-Lewiston, Kittery, Kennebunk-Biddeford, Portland, August, Bangor-Brewer, Brunswick, and Acadia. An index lists the principal cities and towns and their location on the big map of the state. The plastic format is practically indestructable and easily refolded for use in the front seat.
This Rand McNally Maine State Map is highly recommended to those plannng a driving tour of the Pine Tree State.
