This review is from: Maisto R/C 1:12 1967 Ford Mustang (Colors/Styles May Vary) (Toy)
I have three sons so we must have had over 20 different styles/brands of R/C cars over the last five years, and this one is the best. My son got the yellow Mustang for Christmas last year, and I ordered my younger son the same thing this year. This car is GREAT for younger kids for 3 reasons:1: Rechargeable battery! My kids are always forgetting to turn the cars off when they're done playing, and with R/C cars sucking 4-6 AA's, leaving them on totally drains them and was becoming a huge expense! Plus it was always so annoying to try and figure out- are the batteries dead or is there something wrong with the car? Or is it the controller? Etc. The rechargeable battery is a total life saver! 2: 3 Channels! This remote control car has 3 channels- a MUST when you have multiple kids who want to play at once! With other cars, I was always having to explain to them that they can't play with this car and this car at the same time, and they were always getting frustrated. Now they can all play by just changing the channels! 3: Durable and good quality! My son has left this thing outside overnight, bashed it into garages and walls, and while the bumper is a bit askew, 1 year later, the motor and control still work GREAT! The lights still turn off and on, it's just been a really quality, durable car. The price is a little higher on this car as opposed to other R/C cars but believe me it's WORTH it, in batteries ALONE. You could easily pump $50-70 a year in batteries into another R/C car, depending on how much your kid plays with it. And if your kids leave them on, like mine, the price would be even higher! Even if you don't choose THIS R/C car, try to find one with a rechargeable battery and multiple channels at the very least! Believe me you will save yourself many headaches!

Strictly a showpiece. Bought it for my husband's RC collection and he loves it. He says he would have given it 5 stars if it was faster, but still a worthy piece for his collection.
