My 10 month old loves this,
By A Customer
This review is from: Maisy's Morning on the Farm (Paperback)
We have many Maisy books at our house, but this one is especially cute! Maisy works on the farm milking cows, feeding chickens, etc. The pictures are adorable and my 10 month old likes us to make the farm animal sounds as we read it to him.I highly recommend it!

A classic Maisy book. Simple and gentle, Maisy feeds her friends on the farm.

If you're looking to buy a Maisy book, you already know who Maisy is and how these books are written. So I'll cut to the chase, here are the themes on each of the pages:
1) Maisy notes there is a lot of work to do on the farm 2) Maisy gets chicken feed 3) Maisy feeds the chickens 4) Maisy feeds the pigs 5) Maisy notes sheep eat grass. 6) Time to milk the cow 7) Maisy milks cow. 8) Breakfast time: Maisy pours a bowl of cereal. 9) Little Black Cat gets some milk 10) Good Work! Maisy and Little Black Cat eat breakfast.

Maisy's Day at the Farm,
By
This review is from: Maisy's Morning on the Farm (Paperback)
If you are the parent of a young child, you probably know who Maisy is. She's a mouse with a duck, a squirrel, an elephant, and a crocodile for friends. Why the crocodile isn't trying to eat the others is beyond me, but that's life in Maisy's world. Both of my daughters love the Maisy books; there's something about their simple stories and colorful pictures that even appeals to adults. The books are short and easy to read. But, the stories are never obnoxiously simplistic, like so many other books for small children. Maisy's on the farm and someone has to feed all of the animals. Will Maisy be able to take care of all of her chorse and have breakfast? Will little black cat enjoy a bowl of milk? And just where did Maisy get that tractor? A fun book for small children (and even a few older ones).

My daughter is a big Maisy fan. This is not her favorite book of the many she has, but it's cute and educational. My daughter enjoys identifying all the animals. As with all other Maisy books, we love the simple, bold art and the vibrant colors.

Our favorite Maisy is great in this farm story! There are tractors (our favorite!), tons of animals, jobs, etc. The story is more heavily worded this time too. We love it!

My son simply loves Maisy books. This one keeps him entertained and has helped him to learn about a few farm animals. He's loved these books ever since he was around 1 year old. He's 2 1/2 now and still very into Maisy. Great books for kids.

2-yr old loves Maisy!,

Our 2 year old son just loooves Maisy. The T.V. shows and books are a big hit. With this one, he brings it over to us and works his way into our laps, no matter if we are reading something else, and wants it read to him - now! The story is simple, and the actions depicted captivate a 2 year old well. I wish it were a few pages longer, but otherwise for the Maisy fan in your house you can't go wrong with any of these great books by Lucy Cousins.
