The villainous Cylons is represented by the famous chrome robot and the equally evil gold robot. Galactica follows the travails of the 12 colonies of mankind after their new hope for peace with the robotic Cylon Empire ends in the largest military sneak attack in the history of galactic warfare, leaving 12 worlds of mankind utterly destroyed. Surviving citizens of these worlds are forced to take flight into the unknown under the wing of their race's only surviving warship, a 4,100-foot-long carrier craft named the Galactica. Their only hope is to find the mythical planet Earth, the supposed 13th colony of Mankind, lost millennia ago when humans first left the mother world, Kobol.

I watched Battlestar Galactica (the Original Series) when I was young and always wanted decent action figures from the series. Now they are finally here. The packaging is very cool (much like Sideshow Toys'). The likeness of the Cylon is dead-on and poseability is pretty good. The only thing I did not care for was the fact that the chrome parts are rather cheaply made and some are even scratched from the assembly process. The armor is attached with velcro, which makes this not great for small kids. Overall, I recommend this product to Battlestar Galactica fans. Next, hopefully they'll make figures from the new series.
