I purchased this for Easter 2012 and I just finished coloring my eggs. I don't know how long they take to dry but the eggs come out looking really nice. It's a super fast process and if your careful not to add too much dye the marbling looks great. I was a little rough with a few eggs while rubbing the color on and they cracked - user error. There is no waiting for the dye to take affect as in liquid dipping techniques. All in all, a must have if you are short on time and want dazzling, iridescent (they have a pearl-like finish) easter eggs. I will be looking for these next year!!

I bought one of these kits on sale after Easter last year. This year, we used the traditional egg dying kit and the Majestic kit. We were thrilled with the outcome of the eggs dyed by using the Majestic kit. The colors were vibrant, the eggs were pearlized and looked beautiful. The kit consists of one small plastic bag for each color. After adding one color to each bag, all we needed to do was drop in an egg and "shmoosh" the egg around in the bag--no muss no fuss. My grandson, along with the adults who participated in the egg dying, was bowled over by the outcome. After Easter, I checked Amazon, hoping to find the Majestic kit. Fortunately, I found them and ordered four kits. We're all set for Easter 2015!

I liked having something a little different this year - usually we use the PAAS die. The marble effect on these was much more interesting!

This product comes with separate foil packets containing the dye for each colour. Only the Pink/Rose worked well... the Purple was a bit harder, and the Blue and Green were both dry and impossible to apply. We did manage to get an egg out of the Yellow, which was easily the most beautiful - but only one egg. Overall, the eggs we got were beautiful, but we didn't get nearly enough. Disappointing.

Unfortunately I can't say whether the coloring was nice looking or easy. I bought two of these kits for Easter this year and both of them were unusable. The dye is stored in small sealed pouches, and when we opened them up the dye was the consistency of dried bubble gum. We opened each pouch in both kits and all were the same. Very disappointed, waste of money.
