Fun game. Base running is a little tricky. Other than that, I love it.

I bought this game on amazon because it was cheaper than mlb09 the show. I found out why it was cheaper. The pitching meter does not effect how the pitch reacts...I don't see the point of even having it. Baserunning is dificult and fielding is also strange and awkward. If you are just a casual fan and just want to play an okay baseball game then buy this one, but if you are a fan and actually care about season stats and having realistic stats then buy mlb09 the show, it is a lot better than this game, seriously.

Good luck playing a decent game. This game is so full of glitches and errors, it's rare that you play a decent game. Buy something else.

i think its a pretty good game. i play it a lot but get tired of it a lot too. The disk works perfect and hasnt had a mess up yet.

If you love baseball or just love playing sports games, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! This is by far one of the worst games ever made, so much so that it has compelled me to write a review. 90 percent of the games I buy or play are sports, football, basketball, baseball, hockey, any sports game I will buy and try.

This game is poorly produced and made. Players don't look even remotely close to what they look like in real life. Fielding controls are horrible, what should be a routine infield out play becomes an infield hit because the fielder will take their time winding up and throwing the ball softly over to first. Just running towards a fly ball is an adventure, for some strange reason the player you are controlling to run towards the fly ball will slow up. Playing against the computer, their fielders seem to have the greatest range shortstops running to pretty much centerfield to catch a ball, etc...

Also the announcers are horrible, whoever did the programing did a poor job. I will get the first out of the inning and the announcer will say, "That's the last out of the game folks." They pretty much say that for every out.

There are other things too many to mention, just stay away from this game. Should be zero stars.

One positive note, game does not crash or hang.

Just a very poorly produced game, extremely disappointed, wasted 20 dollars!

I am not really satisfied because the game get frozen after one stage of playing and i can not go forward....

I buy this game every year. This was the first time it was a disappointment. Is it a "second" quality game because it is meant for China?

It's extremely hard to hit to anywhere other than one of the computers players, and they hit the crap out of your pitcher no matter what you do. Doesn't seem realistic at all.

Many people won't care for this part but I do.They have awsome music from Cheap Trick to Preist and all these other bands.About the game now.If you have played 2k baseball games like 2k5.It's gonna be a lot different.On 2k5 you press circle or x to swing.2k9 you pull back R.Pitching is a lot different but it's hard to explain

Much, much better than 2K Baseball. Very realistic and deep; with excellent graphics.
