Major League Dads (Rugrats Ready-To-Read, No 7),
By A Customer
This review is from: Major League Dads: LEVEL 1 (Rugrats: Ready-To-Read) (Paperback)
A father's trip to a ballgame. Humor is attempted through misunderstandings of typical baseball culture. A line from the Star Spangled Banner becomes "land of the fleas, home of the brains." The youngest children go in search of a playground after hearing "batter swings." Contains excellent color illustrations and will be of interest to the K through 3rd grade levels.

Dad time with the Rugrats!,
This review is from: Major League Dads (Rugrats) (Paperback)
Major League Dads (Rugrats)In this story, the kids from the Nickelodeon TV series Rugrats go with their dads (and Grandpa Lou) to a baseball game to celebrate Father's Day. As usual, Tommy and his mischievous friends wander off and have an adventure, but everything works out for the kids - and their dads - at the end. This is a fun book for younger children, especially those who watch the Rugrats or enjoy going to baseball games. The book ends with a collection of short humor pages, including "Grandpa Lou's Tall Tales."
