Exciting, Action-packed Review of MLS Teams,
By A Customer
This review is from: Major League Soccer 1999: Year in Review [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is a great video showing the highlights of the various MLS teams. It profiles some of the top stars in the league and shows some great goals. If you enjoy following MLS teams, you'll love this video. It captures the best action and the most important moments in each club's bid for a spot in the playoffs. Coverage of the playoffs was also well done. This is a video all fans will want to have for their library.

I found this a joy to watch and to say that Cobi Jones is the best player on this video.

Again D.C. United claim the crown as MLS champs. Rob Stone does a quality job of narration with fantastic highlights from the 1999 MLS season. Each team is profiled and the stats pack is a nice touch for dvd.

This video is great because it recaptures plays in important soccer games and records soccer history and styles of play that will become soccer history. I would love to see other unique games like the 1979 WORLD CUP with the Netherlands team (many of whom were killed in a terrible plane cash.) Their style of play was unique and was taught by one of the most innovative soccer coaches of that time.
