Haystak is the Man..Ive listened to everything he has done to date..I have not been dissapointed once..whether he's alone or collabing with C.W.B ..Haystak always outshines any other artist in my opinion.Unlike Eminem who has a few songs that are repetitive and uncharacteristic of who he really is
Haystak is a lyrical genious.
If you dont have this CD then you cant trully know Stak the Mak
cuz this is where he started

When I heard this album in december of 1998, it blew me away.
There had not yet been a white rapper that came onto the seen with this much strength and ability. If you have'nt heard haystak-mac, then all you have to go on is eminem. You can't really compare the two, they have absolutley different styles. If you want to hear a tru to it country boy tell it how it really is in his given set of circumstances, order this CD now. You won't be let down, but if for some reason you are, e-mail me and I'll take the cd, I always play my Haystak cd until it quits working..........

This Big old Whiteboy out of Tennessee is taking hip-hop into a whole new direction. This is straight up a classic album. There is really no one that you can compare Haystak to, because no one can come close to Stak. He combines intelligent lyrics along with catchy refrains. After you listen to this album once, you will have the chorus in your head, and you WILL be looking forward to the next time you GET to listen to this classic.

It's hard for me to believe that something like this even existed in 98. He really was years ahead of his time before Shady and way before Bubba Sparxxx u could make an argument that the idustry saw Stak and tried to mold Sparxx to be like him. Sraight up he's the 1st white boy to be taken serious. But back to the album it's good and alot of people would say it's a classic but not to me it's damn good but no classic. The tracks that stand out to me is Flossin ft.Pistol and if your from Nashville u know about him. Even though Pistol is now past his prime I wish Stak would ft him on another album. Also Don't Want It is song that is very good cause it shows his lyrical talent. It sounds like somthin out the 80's. And finally Down Yonder I love this track and he says it best "i get love from CLARKSVILLE HIGHWAY to noalnsville rd.
