One of the greatest yuri mangas I have ever read.,

There are two types of yuri fans: the sex obsessed who want it as dirty as possible and the cute romance obsessed who strive on the happy feelings they get from watching not so dirty romances which can sometimes involve 12 year olds simply holding hands. This has a bit of both. It's about two really good bisexual friends who have an everlasting affair because they can only get close to each other. It gets very dirty sometimes, but it's in a fan way that almost seems realistic especially with the very well drawn characters. It's easy to suspend one's disbelief even with almost every chapter being about having sex. While they are friends with benefits, at the same time they are in an ever increasing romance that is told through these sexual encounters. There are little moments when it's not all about sex and just about how much they love and care about each other. If you are on that line between pure romance yuri fan and pure sex yuri fan then this is definitely for you and I also recommend it to people on either side of that spectrum, but beware innocent yuri fans. It might be just a little too dirty to be worth the beautiful romance. I also highly recommend it to yuri fans who just respect good artists. This could be considered as art, it is so well drawn.

A definite buy for anyone that liked Maka-Maka 1. Just as sweet as the first but a little depressing towards the end. The sex is a bit heavier too.

Maka Maka Volume 2 is an amazing find. The art is gorgeous and the characters look very realistic. Their proportions are normal and are within the range of average for women. The story is also compelling, engaging and erotic. It's hard to find a good Yuri manga that has both excellent art and story. This is definitely one of the gems of the genre. Whether you are getting it for it's eroticism, the story or for the art, it is worth the money to add it to your collection.
