A Good Book for Beginners, December 26, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Make an Easy Charm to Attract Love Into Your Life (How to Series) (Paperback)
This is a great little book for beginners. It clearly explains the difference between white and black magick and has easy to follow instructions and lots of illustrations. I am surprised by the hostility shown by some of the other reviewers who seem to have some sort of personal grudge so I just wanted to put in my thoughts. I have often recommended this book to people new to the concept of working magick. (So many seem to think that it's all about bending the will of others to your own.) This author makes it clear that true magick begins in the purity of your own heart and intentions. For the price, this is a good buy!

Why ?, June 21, 1999

Why don't you write something different? Something important to the Craft IF you know so much about it. I know these types of books make a good profit from people who like to read them, but honestly whatever names people choose to write under in the Craft, seem to be making nothing more than the same type of books, just different words (sometimes-mostly repetitions). Some of our group tried doing the same simply for the fun of it. Sitting around the table or the circle making up wonderfully fun rituals, charms, and spells. But we all know that they work only if you believe they will. I can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would pay for a book to tell them how to do something they already know how to do. Why don't you make a really short story and let everyone know that they can do the spells and make the charms THEIR way and that it is the passion and belief inside of themselves that either make it happen or not. I believe you know exactly what I mean. Don't you? Of course I know, I know.....if I can do it better then I should do it, right? Right! Except that true spells, rituals, charms etc. are a given and they are handed down, Tara, not by or to people who use the Craft as a means to make alot of money writing about it...but to those who teach others and share the knowledge without payment.

112 pages?, July 2, 1999

I thought it was somewhat lengthy just to give love attraction spells. Simply put, a bath, some deodorant, clean clothes, pleasant smile, intelligent conversation and some manners would work just as well as all this hocus pocus. One shouldn't be playing with spells for love. Love should be given freely.

Not So Bad, July 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Make an Easy Charm to Attract Love Into Your Life (How to Series) (Paperback)
As a fiction this isn't all that bad. Not as bad as silver ravenwolf's stuff. If this writer wants to be a writer then she has to write books and if all this fiction witch stuff is what people are buying then that's what she should write. Real witches know this stuff is just for people who don't know about real witchcraft so as a fiction it's not so bad. Probably for people who think witches are like the christians want people to think we are. I give it a 2 cause I feel sorry all the reviews are bad :)

You tried, June 28, 1999

Yes, one should never follow in another persons shadow. Each person has their own worth and value. Books that repeat so many others out there do not do justice to a writers ability. I suggest you find your own niche or better yet, leave the writing to writers.

No Offense, June 22, 1999

No offense but you really shouldn't try to follow in your Ray's footsteps. Wait until he cleans the bottom of his shoes first. In the meantime, why don't you do some of your own writings, perhaps on your church, or your knowledge of insurance or sheep or whatever it is that you do or have done in the past. Sorry Ms. Buckland but you can do better than all this. Life is too short. The fates will return to you what you put out even if you might not really believe that.

Another One?, June 15, 1999

I find it disturbing that these books are nearly all alike. Much like your husband Raymond Bucklands books. The fact that there was articles written in his news bullitens years ago saying you all were married in Unitarian Church makes me wonder what happened to hand fastings? Selling books seem to be number one with you people. Too bad so many people get taken in with all this stuff.

The Same Information, December 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Make an Easy Charm to Attract Love Into Your Life (How to Series) (Paperback)
I am curious as to why writers of these types of books have almost all the same information in them. They say the same thing but suggest different ways of doing them, such as the books written by Silver Ravenwolf, Raymond Buckland, Tara Buckland and several others. I am curious if all these are written by the same person using different names (as writers are known to do) or if they all simply collaborate with one another. I find, as I said earlier, that the writings are basically all the same thing. They seem to resemble little witchity type books instead of the realities of the Pagan Beliefs. But perhaps they were written to do that in the beginning?
