Close the deal!, August 14, 2011
This review is from: Make a Fortune Selling to Women: The Deal Makers and Deal Breakers You Must Know to Close the Deal Every Time! (Hardcover)
Connie Podesta has written a great line of books in her career, and this is no exception! I've gotten a lot out of reading most of her books and am really impressed with this one. It's got great How-to info on gaining the trust and respect of women so you can finally close the deal with them.
Now, I've never needed any of these sales guides, but everything in there seems great and makes sense. I'm such a fan of her work that I felt I should read this one too. And I'd say it's actually helped with my overall communication skills. I loved this book. Other great works by her:
Life Would Be Easy If It Weren't for Other People (Live) &
How to Be the Person Successful Companies Fight to keep
Read her stuff, you won't regret it.

Very good sales read from a psychological sales standpoint, May 8, 2009
This review is from: Make a Fortune Selling to Women: The Deal Makers and Deal Breakers You Must Know to Close the Deal Every Time! (Hardcover)
This book is a very good read from a psychological sales standpoint. Connie Podesta provides an insider's view into a woman's mind stating, "A woman wants her shopping experience to be personal, productive, professional, positive experience that makes her feel part of the process." The author provides great wisdom powerful tips such as, "Don't use Manipulation as a Tool to Make a Sale." This holds true for all buyers, and is imperative with women.
The chapters are very concise and practical taking the reader through 5 "Deal Breakers".
1. She doesn't want to play the game. Learn how to focus on being her ally and advocate, rather than rushing to close the deal.
2. She doesn't think you view her as legitimate decision maker. Discover how letting go of assumptions and giving a woman the benefit of the doubt can lead to long lists of referrals.
3. She doesn't like you. Women are looking for a buying experience where there is a personal connection.
4. She doesn't trust you. Learn what criteria a woman uses to judge trustworthiness and how to assure her that you are the person she can count on.
5. She doesn't think you are the right person for the job. Discover how your expertise, style, and approach can convince her that she should buy from you--both now and in the future.
I enjoyed this book very much and recommend adding it to your business library. A good sales person can extract some golden nuggets and techniques.

This book is outstanding! I coach maid services in business, who primarily sell to women. This book has been a very useful tool in helping my clients focus on the needs and buying habits of their market. Great book, easy read.
