This review is from: How To Make A Garlic Braid (Paperback)
I've tried braiding garlic and onions over the years and the results have always been less than commendable. I figured there had to be a "trick' to it and I bought this book hoping to learn the trick. The book did not disappoint me one bit. My first braid took some time to do as I followed every step, which was clearly illustrated. The result was well worth the effort. I proudly showed my first braid to my wife and she was duly impressed. After a couple more braids, I had the technique down. As with many things, it's easy when you know how. The book is really a booklet; it isn't very long, but it does a wonderful job of doing exactly what the title declares---How To Make A Garlic Braid. By the way, there are two kinds of garlic--hardneck and softneck. Softneck garlic will braid easily but the hardneck does not braid as well.
