I remember this album when I was in the 6th grade. I I fell in love with the album. Nicole displays her versatility at full tilt on her debut album. The tone of the album and Nicole's genuine disposition that she's putting a slight flip to the bad girl image that has invaded a lot of hip-hop recently. This album has been certified Gold and even the hit single. Remember,this was 1998.

Nicole's CD, "Make It Hot", was OK, but did not live up to it's blazing first single & title track. In other words Missy faked us all out. There should have been more songs produced by Timbaland and less interludes, which were boring, unnessacary, and in one case pointless. The songs Missy produced could have been better but were still good. The best songs on this CD have got to be "Eyes Better Not Wander", and "Make It Hot". Overall the CD could have been better.

I use to have this Cd and when I was looking for the CD and found it at that price that it was, I just had to get it. The CD itself is a GOOD.

Missy Elliot debuts Nicole a R & B singer who is 17 years old. Nicole struck gold with her single ''Make It Hot'', but there are no other songs that follow that same soultry formula. There is '' Seventeen'' but other than that, theres nothing else on this album that catch your ear. Its too bad that this LP had to be her only luck at stardom.

This CD is so Good it should be released and Played on the Radio Waves again

Nicole is Missy protege and she delivers.She can sing but again at being 17 her voice hasnt really ahd the chance to develop like she can in the future.The songs "Seventeen" , and "Nervous" are gems.The first single "I Can't See" is classic and is great.A wonderful debut for her to introduce into the scene.The other single "Make It Hot" is great and has a dope beat for her.The other single "Eyes Better Not Wonder Off" is classic and beautiful song.The other songs "Silly Love Song" ,the dope "Raise Your Frown" , "Borrowed Time" and "Boy You Should Listen" are all great. The last gem is "Testing Our Love is great and is a great way to colse ou the album.


The only problem is Missy is allover this album and you hear her voice about as much as you do hear Nicoles.But still go buy this Cd you can relate is you have been in love and had problems in you reltionships..

You know i always admired 'Make It Hot' but however i hadnt heard the full album until recently and just HAD to purchase. Nicole's sexy and soulful vocals mesmerise you with each track she delivers. Exceptional favorites are ' I Can't See', 'Make It hot', 'Eyes Better Not Wander, 'Boy You Should Listen' and 'Raise Your Frown'...A true R&B star (like Lil'Mo) and sadly not given the full recognition she deserves!

I'm a spanish listener of r&b and hip hop and I think that missy and tim did 1 of their best work in this album and the un-released elektric blue (with all my respect to aaliyah).I love make it hot ,I can see and the whole cd. I know she has been signed to the roc. I hope this time we could enjoy her music . the new songs I hear from her are great "Destination" "I wanna kiss you" "Cloud nine" and Forever

At the time this album dropped I was a sophmore in highschool. I loved her first single "Make It Hot" catchy hook and the dance moves to the video everybody and their momma was imitating. hehe. Anyhow, as for the album it was not consistent. The album wasn't a playthru album, not that the other tracks sucked it just wasn't my cup of tea. It was a lil' more leanient towards the R&B/Pop genre and it got on my nerves. Standout Tracks to me were "Boy you should listen", "Silly Love Song", "Raise Your Frown", "Testing Our Love (Suga)", "Make it Hott" and "Seventeen"... over all this is a pretty solid album. I have been waiting and anticipating her sophmore album though titled "Electric Blue", because I seen the video and the song "I'm Lookin'" and I must say that this song is very mellow and smooth, plus the video was very cool and she's cute as a button. What happened to her? Anyhow, I suggest u cop this album used just in case u feel cheated...or download.
