Kurt Van Sickle's music is heartwarming and renders a feeling of stillness and peace.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't be mislead
While the one song that is sung is truly beautiful and spiritual, I was very disappointed that there was only ONE song, repeated again and again. I suppose for certain meditations it would be fine, but for my money, I was expecting perhaps four or five songs.

Kurt Van Sickle's music is heartwarming and renders a feeling of stillness and peace.
On my New Age Radio Show "Quest," I frequently used Kurt's various pieces including "Make me an Instrument" to back my popular, live, over-the-air guided mediations, as well as playing his music on it's own.
The most frequent listener comment about Kurt's music was that they stopped everything they were doing to listen to it, some commenting they would melt into a comfy chair and relax at the sound of his music.

Currently I am experiencing ill-health which has taken me away from producing and presenting this personal and spiritual development radio show, and as a part of my therapy I use music by Kurt as well as some other very special artists to help me heal myself.
Thank you Kurt, for expressing in music the divinty and sanctuary we can sometimes need a little help finding.

I use this recording for my deepest meditations. It is spiritual beyond anything I have experienced in a very long time - a tremendous aid to prayer and meditation.
We use it in church as well as sing it as a hymn.
This is a speciality piece of music. It has a specific place in the Spiritual community and as such, it exceeds all expectations.

The ethereal, magical music of Make Me An Instrument is so beautiful that I will listen to it over and over; its especially good therapy at the end of a long workday. The celestial music & singing chant is both energetic and inspirational, as if being transported to a special place where time stands still.

A special gift to be shared with everyone. Thanks!

This is the most peaceful, uplifting music I have heard in a long time. When I've had a stressful day at work, I play it and the tension just melts away. It is very spiritual and calming. I recommend it for anyone who needs to 'get away'.

MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT is a magical tapestry of sound, with a choir of voices so seamlessly blended that they sound like one voice. Its beautiful melody, subtle instrumentation and pristine production values make for a thoroughly transcendent listening experience. A wonderful extended chant!

I first heard this during a Reiki Initiation, and it touched me and took me Home. When I received my own copy, I turned it on and my apartment literally became Heaven. Words cannot express the beauty and love of this piece. I treat myself with it every day now -- it has become an integral part of my meditation and my life. I cannot rate this high enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Transformational Music, February 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Make Me An Instrument (Audio CD)
Make Me An Instrument is not only a beautiful musical performance, it can also be a transformational experience. Several years ago, while singing it in meditation with a group, I had one of the most amazing spiritual experiences of me life. I believe that this music, and the prayer it contains, can heal and awaken.

I only regret there are only 5 stars to give to this work of pure artistry. It is one of the most powerful meditation recordings I have ever experienced.

I am a psychotherapist and teacher with a private practice in New York City. Make me an instrument is a powerful "heart opener"... I use it in my workshops and it bonds the energy of the group, shaping it into one big heart. Make me an instrument speaks to the longing we all humans share to connect with the great soul we all belong to. It has been a huge contribution to my work with groups of people.
