3.0 out of 5 stars Love the Chemistry of the Main Characters but...
OK, I am new to Gwyneth Bolton and I LOVED At First Kiss, and I really liked this one. but the ONE thing that bothers me about this book is Cullen. Why did this man have such an aversion to Darius and Karen, I mean come on, I know you are mad that your number one client is spending a lot of time not working but real to go through the lengths he did? IT WAS TOO MUCH and...

5.0 out of 5 stars Never Ending Love, July 23, 2010
This review is from: Make It Last Forever (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Wow! Make It Last Forever is truly an all time "blockbuster" of romance novels. I absolutely loved this storyline of soul mates traveling through time and finding each other over and over again. It really made me wonder if such a thing is possible.

As with all Ms. Bolton's stories the hero (Darius) is a man that makes you want to love him and the heroine (Karen) is a woman you're cheering for throughout the book, "girl you better go get your man!" Ms. Bolton once again entertains us with a page turning, can't put the book down story of love, passion, treachery, and betrayal with a touch of paranormal.

If you're looking to be thoroughly entertained then Make it Last Forever is a must read! I promise you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soul Mates Are FOREVER!, July 20, 2010
This review is from: Make It Last Forever (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Karen Williams doesn't have faith in love nor does she trust people. So when Darius "D-Roc" Rollins came to her community center to volunteer his time and money, she couldn't believe it. She had spent the majority of her life with a rap star and wasn't about to get wrapped up with another famous rapper turned actor. Her suspicions made their first interaction shaky at best but both felt the electric connections that jump started their hearts. Darius invited Karen to dinner so they could get a game plan together and the sparks begin to fly. As their past slams into their present, the tragedy and death that has attacked them both may destroy the relationship they are trying to cultivate.

Bolton has returned to her love of music as the idea of hip hop runs throughout this romance. The characters are engaging and will capture your heart with their personal insecurities. The storyline is more than a romance as it has some mystery, murder and deception. The love affair between Karen and Darius is simply captivating and the love scenes are tastefully sensual. This is truly a novel that all romance fans will enjoy and comes highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kindred Spirits, July 28, 2010
This review is from: Make It Last Forever (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
The only thing that Karen Williams had on her mind was making sure that everything at the Shemar Sunyetta Youth Center, named after her deceased best friend, continued to run. Full of optimism, determination and desire, Karen was ready to take on each day and challenge. Gwyneth Bolton's novel, Make It Last Forever, takes Karen on a journey that she was destined for.

After spending the day helping a friend pack, Karen meets her neighbor, Dicey "Divine Stamps, fortune-teller extraordinaire. Dicey has been trying for months to read Karen's palm and to tell her about the handsome stranger that will come into her life. But Karen does not believe any of it until Darius Rollins walks into the center. Darius, aka D-Roc, is the hottest rapper/actor in Hollywood. Darius decides that he wants to volunteer in the neighbor where he grew up and he wants to honor the memory of his recently deceased cousin. After shaking hands, Darius and Karen had a feeling that they knew each other. Karen was not like anyone he had ever met and Darius knew that she was the woman he wanted to spend forever with.

Just when you think you know Gwyneth Bolton, she throws you a curve and she gives her readers an exciting and different love story. Bolton takes readers on a journey into the past lives and loves of Karen and Darius to show readers the strength of their connection. She also added a tad-bit of a mystery to the story to heighten the anticipation of the next page. Bolton, in my opinion, is sure to gain new fans with this story.

5.0 out of 5 stars TRUE LOVE TRANSCENDS THROUGH TIME...., July 26, 2010

This review is from: Make It Last Forever (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Regardless of the time or the era, Darius and Karen realize that their love will not be denied. Gwyneth Bolton takes love to a new and unforeseen level with it traveling through time and space and experiencing many opportunities to get their love right, while overcoming the many adversaries that would love to see them fail. With colorful and bold characters, this book truly transcends love and romance beyond what the eyes can see or the mind could fathom, and takes you to a place where Love and Soul Mates collide and experience hot, passionate, and out of this world sensational LOVE! Gwyneth Bolton's writing and outstanding storytelling abilities gets better and better with every novel she writes; however, I haven't found any of her novels to be anything but exceptional anyway! I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to experience a love out of this world! I am also hoping and praying that we see Darius and Karen sometime again in the near future! Woo-Woo!

5.0 out of 5 stars Forever, July 26, 2010
This review is from: Make It Last Forever (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Well what can I say about this book but WOWWWWWWWWWW, this was so AWESOME and i couldn't but it down once I began reading.

Darius (D-Roc)Rollins well known rapper/actor come home to lay her cousin to rest and while there decide he needs a little R/R from his career. Darius is feeling guilt for not spending time with him while he had the chance. Darius has always giving back to the neighborhood but realize that wasn't enough so while he was home he decided to give his time by voluteering his time at Shemar Synyetta Youth Center.

Karen Williams is out Angel Davis she is pro-active, fight for cause and everybody know it. Karen shy away from that all consuming love don't believe in LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, OR BEING SOMEBODY SOUL MATE.

When Darius & Karen meet for the first time Darius is a gonner it like they have this connections like they have met before for that is impossible since he just met her, and for Karen it is instance attraction and she can't understand why her body is betraying her. This couple draws you into them and i an telling you that while reading this book it like you are right there with them.

While the often are thinking of each other at different time there dreams of each other is HOT....................Karen didn't believe in that woo-woo stuff as she call it but Darius soon made her a believer and Darius spoke what he felt and he was so connected to Karen that he knew what she was thinking.

Ladies & Gent this is a must read...............run out and purchase your book you will not be disappointed.

If you believe in soul mates, past lives, and Deja vu this is definitely the book for you. Two souls who keep finding each other in different periods of time it just takes your breath away. I would love to read sequel to this book to see how Karen and Darius's story progresses.

I'm defintitely a fan of Ms. Bolton's - have been for a minute. I liked this book. I liked the way the journal was linked to the couple throughout time. The love scenes were hot. But - it wasn't a very satisfying read for me. Meaning that once the story was done, I felt there was something missing. I just can't exactly put my finger on it.
