From Library Journal
Jenson, chairman of High Ground Associates and MaxLife LLC, attempts to teach you how to be successful by explaining that you must first define the word success for yourself?and that being rich and powerful are rarely things of which the dying are proud. Yet nearly all his examples of successful people are wealthy executives. The outline of the book is well thought out; however, much of the text appears to be filler, often unrelated to the point at hand. Some of Jenson's statements are interesting, some are obnoxious, and some are even factually inaccurate. There are many books out there of this genre (The Road Less Traveled, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, etc.), which are better. Given his poor writing style and reiteration of what others have already said?and said better?there is not a lot to recommend this offering.?Elizabeth Caulfield Felt, Washington State Univ., Pullman
